All of a sudden on bootup of Win95 the program stalls at the mouse pointer in the middle of the screen, just before the icons are loaded into the desktop. When I bootup, the bootup stalls with a message "CPU is not workable or has been changed" See CPU Soft Menu. When I check the BIOS Soft Menu everything looks normal with the CPU I can bypass this bootup stall by hitting F1 as instructed by the screen message to continue, however I would prefer it to work right.

Seems like this stall is forever. Am not sure if it ever kicks out of it (I am too impatient to wait, although I did wait about 10 minutes once). If I boot into Safe Mode, it logs gagp30kx.sys and then hangs for about 3-4 minutes and then finally finishes boot. I can boot to setup, floppy or CD with no problems.

Windows 98 randomly stalls at bootup.
When i boot up, I get to the desktop, and I can click all the icons, but I cannot clixk START on the taskbar. The Cursor is "busy" and stays that way for approx. 2-3 mins., then it will finish loading everything and I can proceed normally. I am running Build 2600. Please help....this is very frustrating!
