Is there anyway after an install to get rid of the damn graphical boot without being able to boot up into it first? Odd things like this tend to end up pointing to something like a PD title. Where do I find the Windows !

When i turn on my computer in the morning, windows wont boot up all the way. It stalls ...doesnt freeze. I started collecting bootlogs to see where it is failing and it is stalling at different parts of loading. So i doubt its on piece of hardware or driver. I have the 4.24 service pack installed already.

I get something like this as well, but my wait is more like a minute. Are you able to start other applications during that time? I am. However it takes a minute for my Norton Antivirus and Internet Security to become enabled, they both appear as disabled in the icon tray initially at boot up.

My computer has started freezeing up on bootup sometimes. It doesnt do it every time. It gets to the Welcome Screen, and freezes. Restart doesnt work. I have to shut down, then start again. When I boot it stalls at amd for abou 3 minutes then goes on fine after that. Whn shuing down it tells me there is no PID for amd and that it can't kill the process. Is it necessary to have amd or should I just disable it at startup? BTW, I have another syste at work (AT K5-133) that doesn't stall at bootup but
